"I think that people, somehow, forget who they really are when they grow up. And I think that, in a way, their lives just become this endless cycle of boring routine. I hope I don’t turn up to be like them, I hope I never forget who I am, and what makes me happy, and I hope you never forget that, too."
-Abraham M. Alghanem

Just a quote for the day, because I really don't have anything exciting happening in my life right now.

The Art of Climbing

Last Sunday, My dad, brother and I went climbing. I had never been climbing in the forest/wilderness before, and it was actually so quality. It was super wet and slippery, so we didn't stay long, but managed to get one climb in before we had to go. That is definitely going to be a popular destination for us this summer. British Columbia is so beautiful, you just have to look for it. I encourage you to go out and explore the bush around our little valley, but try not to get eaten by the wildlife.
Here are my favourite pictures from the evening:

I think things are beautiful when you don't plan them, and when you don't have any expectations, and you're not trying to get somewhere in particular.

Just a thought for today, tomorrow, and this next year.

The Hollow Men

For a last minute extra credit project in English Lit, I did a photo essay on T. S. Eliots poem, "The Hollow Men" (which you can read, here). I honestly threw this together in about two hours (that includes photo shoot and editing) and I must say I'm proud of my hastiness. Here are my favourite images from the project:

The Start of Something New

Well, it appears its time for something new. Highschool is done, and I'm look forward to the future. This blog isn't for anyone really, just for me to have somewhere to post my photos, and experiences. I wont be writing to anyone here, but feel free to come along with me, as I adventure out through these next years in my life.
